What is the older network Channel 4 or SKY

Strange question...

... but seeing as you asked, Channel 4 is the oldest being launched in 1982.
Sky began as one channel on Cable as 'Sky Channel' in 1983, but didn't turn into an actual service until 1989.

TBH I think they're about the same.

Channel 4 came on air in 1982 (I think), and I also think that was the same year Sky Channel (later to be Sky One) started being availble on cable.
