Whats going on with BBC2 now?

The TV upstairs is showing The Super League Show, but the downstairs one has a live rugby union match. Is this meant to be happening?

The Superleague show is a regional programme so either the TV downstairs is tuned to a region that isn't showing it or is showing BBC2 digital

That's what comes of having your upstairs in a different region to your downstairs.

Try a smaller house.

Ahh right. The regional TV people only get the second half of the rugby then.

Seems strange to replace one rugby match with a programme about rugby, especially when the match being shown involves Leeds

I never understand why the BBC don't screen The Super League Show nationwide.

Just because most (but not all) of the clubs are from the North, it's restricted to the North.

I doubt if it was full of London teams it would just be shown in the capital!

There's some rights issue that forbids it being shown on BBC One, and it also has something to do with Sky Sports too, there was a full reason in a BBC Sport Transcript with the head of Rugby at the BBC. So basically it can only be shown on BBC Two in the North West, Yorkshire & Lincolnshire and North East & Cumbria Regions.

It's a shame its not on BBC One, as it is the only programme to provide Highlights, Sky Sports only shows two Live games per week and NO highlights, they also offer repeats of the games, but they're only shown on Friday and Saturday Nights, for some reason the Super League doesn't have Sunday matches shown on TV.

And of course it only goes out on analogue. There are currently no English Regions capable of opting on BBC TWO on the Digital platforms.
