Whatever happened to.....

When GMTV first launched, in the opening titles there is a man who arrives at the bus stop and he smiles at the lady next to him. She snubs him.

I seem to remember that in later months this opening scene was changed and IIRC she dropped some books and he helped pick them up.

Did anything else happen after this?

IIRC, they turned up at the bus stop one morning in matching T-shirts.

Undortunately then the titles went and the music lost the saxophone bit in favour of a crappy guitar playing the end of the tune an octave lower. Shame - I loved that music.
