Apologies if this is more suited to Metropol and I understand if this gets closed but I feel it is TV related.
Basically, I'm looking to buy a new TV. Money is a little tight and I plan to get a Toshiba 28" Widescreen TV (Model 28W33B) What it doesnt tell me and even look on the website as well is about the tuning the channels in.
Why would I ask such a thing. Basically I need to know whether the Toshiba range of tv's does a full scan range of channels in the mhz from 0 to 999mhz range when tuning (I think it's mhz) like my rented Philips tv does. Most tv's only tune channels from the norm of 21 to 69 UHF.
Now because I live in a Cable area, some of the channels on the analogue cable service can be picked up below 466mhz which is below the 21-69UHF range and I don't even need a decoder. I can get E4, Sky News and a few others for free and I don't want to get a telly that can't get that as I would have to pay for it then
