Well Granada Soccer Night is also shown on
BORDER
so maybe thats why.
Nah. It's still local. I mean, Granada even referred to Soccer Sundy during the programme being on Granada. No mention of Border. So they're obviously not that bothered.
My guess is that this is just yet another Granada cock-up. They do make enough of them....
As for the sport thing being fairly generic, how does that explain the NE Match on Tyne Tees the night before having a proper TTTV Production slide at the end?
Tim, people say that you won't see the Granada media logo on the Granadas idents, however the granada media logo has been used on granada media productions which are of course different to Granada regional tv provider ones, the the same way Granada media productions are different to TTTV productions (sorry I know that could do with a bit of punctuation).
Also just to clarify some thing from before, the comment earlier was from MDR not mdta.

Basically the GR/N/D/ logo is fot the Media group - and if the GROUP makes a programme (like Granada Sport productions) then the group logo goes on it.
I think the 'You'll never see GR/N/D/ on screen' thing was meant as never see it replace the G with the arrow, because one is the logo of the group, one is the logo of the NW England TV station it owns
I don't accept that. The Anglia football highlights were made by Anglia. The Tyne Tees one was made by Tyne Tees. The YTV one was made by YTV. The Granada one had it's copyright credit to Granada Television, yet the slide said Granada Media. So why then is Granada Television the only one having it's football highlights made by Granada Media? It doesn't make sense, what you're saying!!!

Aren't Tyne Tees', Anglia's and Yorkshire's all made by Granada Media? Surely they put their own production captions up to save confusing?
That is strictly true, in that all the companies are part of Granada Media. But then that could have been said two years ago. It could also be said that Emmerdale has been made by Yorkshire-Tyne Tees TV for almost a decade -- but have you ever seen that on-screen?
