It's the Anglia purple background with 'A Granada Production' in front.

It's not the Anglia background is it ? It's the A's of the GR/N/D/ logo isn't it ?

They always seem to use GR/N/D/ after sport programming. I'm not sure it really works though.

mdta, if it was the Anglia background that would be extremely strange -- this wasn't an Anglia production!!! In any case this is a generic Granada slide. It is true that Granada do use slides similar to this for sports programmes (didn't think of that one ) but this was a regional Granada programme, so it should never have used this slide -- YTV and TTTV didn't!!!

It is a bizarre thing to show on a local sports programme. If it wasn't a cock-up, one wonders what their reasons were for showing it...

LWT always use the 'swirly' endboard for regional-only programmes - minus the 'For ITV' bit.

I don't quite know why a Videowall version of this endboard has never been made - the new series of Tarrent on TV still has the 'Swirly' LWT endboard.. curious. Perhaps J2k will know!!

That's a good point, BBC Choice (if we want to use old names!! ) ... I never thought of it!

A videowall endboard would look nice I think..

Has anyone got The Royle Family new video? Is the new GR/N/D/ ident used? I'm getting it for Christmas.

I thought someone on here said we'd never see the GR/N/D/ logo on screen, as it was the corporate Granada Media logo as opposed to the TV logo?

I've got the Royle Family series 3 on DVD and the new GR^N^D^ ident is used but it's nothing to brag about it just swoshes onto the screen with wind-like sounds on a purple backgorund no mention of anything ITV like though.

All these GMG endboards are getting really confusing now, they seem to use the original ones, the purples one, and now this one has popped up, so granada now have two purple versions, what's happening!!!

Well Granada Soccer Night is also shown on BORDER so maybe thats why.

Plus Sport seems to be an unusual thing to pin point who makes it exactly.

Networked Football etc are often 'A Carlton/ISN Production' or 'ITV Sport' etc.
