[Going a little off topic]

Of all the airports I've travelled through in the world, the only announcements made in English that I can't understand are those made at Heathrow and Gatwick. God help any foreigner.

Yeah I know what you mean! I went to Malta via Gatwick a couple of weeks ago and me and my mate were still laughing at the announcer when we got back. we were in a lift going through to Departures when an announcer said "Attention please, Bubaba!" Yep it really sounded like Bubaba! I had to think whether we were still in england! with regards to scottish films having subtitles, only become offended if you havn't better things to worry about. I get offended by so many small things in life that I have forgotten what is really important! Infact my friends call me Victor Meldrew junior!

So who put the subtitles on? They were definately part of the film and not from Broadcast as they were the wrong colour/typeset for BBC subitltes.

There is a copy of Sweet Sinxteen in the cupboard at work actually. I'll have to see if it has subtitles on.

I'd agree with the mumbling comment from the PR guy. From what I saw I couldn't hear much of the dialogue although what I could hear was comprehensible.
