Well lived in Yorkshire all my life, but easily received both Tyne Tees and Yorkshire, but of course they has been virtually no difference between the two in donkeys years, seen a little of bit of Central's glory years, never seen any other regions although of course for a good few years now all the regions have been available via the Sly dodgybox.
I can't wait until i get sky digital and i get [aaaaaaalelulia!] Channel.
UTV,Scottish and Grampian sound quite cool aswell.
But i don't know why no-one likes Scottish or Grampian. At least you've got regions!
I've visited a lot of the regions in person, but never watched any TV there as i was busy doing other things. But thanks to the wonders of Sky Digital i have made a point of watching the independant regions like UTV and Scottish just to see what they knock up these days.
Channel is still the region i watch most though of course. Though i tend to only watch it in small doses because i fear my brain may melt if i watch Puffins Pla(i)ce more than once a month!
Yorkshire all though on one television I recieve the BBC Yorkshire signal and on the other television I recieve the BBC Yorks and Lincs. It's the same at a friends house except they have BBC Yorkshire and on another have BBC NE and Cumbria.
I've been, and watched, SW once.
I have only lived in the Granada and Tyne Tees regions, though I have spent quite a bit of time across the YTV region (including Olivers Mount in 1982, Katherine!).
I have visited or been on holiday to the Grampian, Border, Central (East, West and South), London (LWT and Carlton), Westcountry and Channel areas.
I have been in the Scottish and Anglia areas but didn't watch any telly while there. Picked up Anglia and Meridian from East London though.
I've never been to Northern Ireland so have only seen UTV via Sky Digital. Only saw Scottish and HTV West through Sky too. When in Chester I drove over the border just so I could tell everyone I'd been to Wales, but the only time I've watched HTV Wales was when I lived in Manchester and stayed in Blackpool.
