I was looking for the Real-Time website, and typed in www.real-time.co.uk. I then clicked on the only link on the page and it took me to a MS Excel document which seems to be some studio plan. On the right hand side of it it had 'BBC News 24' in a box and 'ITN News Channel' in another.

Take a look!!

What is 'Real Time' anyway? And what is this a plan of? It looks more like a monitor bank than a studio plan to me - but I could just be talking nonsense!

Could it be the configuration of the monitores in the news gathering centre at television centre?

It is a monitor stack layout. The squares will be individual monitors, the circle a time-of-day clock.

It lookes like it is for a News studio stack, but more likely to be Sky rather than BBC.

The stack does not match any BBC studio layout, and many of the sources described are for kit not in use at the BBC, and some of the labelling is in a style very different to that used at the BBC.

Sky use Dekos, Betacart, have a news ticker, and would want to watch ITN NC and BBC News 24 (though surprised no CNN or World monitors)

My guess is it is for a Sky News studio.
