What if you had the power to all TV networks in the UK

Imagine if you were a person with the control of all tv networks what would you do?

Well, I would force ITV to show regional idents for the news and to make separate news titles and sets.

For the BBC I will make them show regional news in HD so that people don't have to flip over the channels just to watch some news.

Now for Channel 4, I will make them have regional news along with more 4 news making a return.

Channel 5 will only be to viewers in urban areas meaning rural areas will not be able to watch The Yorkshire Vet.

And now some other channels

That's TV will be axed and replaced by my own channel CT1 (Curto Television 1)

Price Drop TV will return

The TVS Archive will be shown on the new TVS once ITV Splits

And Analog TV will come back.

So what would you want to do.

You may have control of all the TV networks, but you'll never be able to get the TVS archive out of the hands of Disney-Fox-Marvel-Lucas-Texas Instruments-Boeing-Michelin-Microsoft-NASA. That's been tossed into a dumpster which has itself inexplicably been tossed into a black hole for absolutely no discernible reason.

Give me Jeff Bezos money and I have it all planned out... along with a TVEyes service for each region I’m in.
Don’t let anyone treat you like you’re a VO/SOT when you’re a PKG.

And that is why it is never a good idea for one person to have so much power.
Turns out nobody had 2020 vision.

Because I can't be bothered to separate the quotes. I'll tell you what to do. Learn about the modern broadcasting environment, grow up, then come back and start a proper debate. But to get you started taking your 'ideals to make it better' from the top..

1) 'Warm Glow Of The Past' Klaxon. Additional Cost. Not going to happen.

2) Additional Cost. Not going to happen.

3) Additional Cost. Not going to happen.

4) Poor attempt at a joke. Cost. (Loosing instead of additional) Not going to happen.

5) I'd like to see your programming plans. If it's anything like what you've suggested, then you'll have the 3 people that watch That's TV asking for it back - and that would be quite an achievement.

6)Additional cost. Not going to happen. Plus, less of this rubbish is a good thing.

7) Haa. Find the skip/shredder where the paperwork is, and let's go with this one.

8)Why? Huge Additional cost - not just to National Grid Wireless to reinstall a decommissioned network over over 1,000 transmitters and relays, but also to the mobile telecom industry as compensation for taking away their 5G spectrum they've paid billions for.

Go back to watching Cbeebies, and come back and post on here when you can understand BBC Four.

The kids tv thread just about gets a reprieve thanks to members dragging it into a half decent discussion.

This however is going to go nowhere. Fantasy threads rarely generate anything other than low quality replies. Thread closed.
