On Breakfast ths morning one of the main stories was the plans for the Goverment go to the Houses of Parliament in the mornings instead of the afternoons in the future.

If this plan does go ahead, will it mean that BBC Two's morning schedules will be replaced by Westminster Live, rather than be shown in the afternoon?

And what are your views? Westminster Live in the morning or afternoon?

I can't see how moving the show to the morning will improve the programme. Prime Minister's Questions, shown live in the Wednesday programme isn't likely to change its time to fit in with the BBC.

Hasn't Prime Minister's Questions always been in the afternoon? Don't they do this as the PM has business to deal with in the morning that he might need to say in the afternoon?

This is all part of a big reform plan for the House of Commons. Whether it'll ever happen is another issue.

The idea is that MPs work too late. They want shorter hours.

It's been suggested that Parliament should be a 9-5 operation, this will obviously never happen.

I can't really see them ever switching PMQs to the morning, they need most of the morning to prepare for it.

Improving isn't the main key factor here Katherine. Smile
Morning or afternoon, Westminster Live will still be the same in the future.
