Did you see that? The reporter was very calm

Considering the report, I wouldn't be suprised if the youths involved, were the same ones who were involved in the riots in the first place

comments?

Yes I noticed it! At first I thought it was funny, but what would happen if it were you standing there? If it were me I would turn round and tell the where to go because I would be so mad! Well done to the reporter who managed to keep a straight face!

I just wonder what was said when the reporter finished with George in the studio?

I shudder to think what was said!

I thought George was going to call them something worse afterwards instead of racket! Bet they did cut off the sound to the OB pretty quickly in the gallery - the rest of the team on the OB must have been pushing them away or something because only at the end did someone put their hand over the camera!

A little OT - but on MSNBC last week one of their presenters was on assignment in Jerusalem and was reporting from the scene of that suicide bombing and this Jewish/Israeli zelot was screaming - just off camera - 'Death to Palestine! Death to Muslims! No Muslims - No September 11th' - or something to that affect. The presenter tried to ignore him and he was darting really nasty looks in the guy's direction. Later - he actually turned the camera on the guy. He looked like a dear in front of headlights but he continued to scream. He looked like a mess too. The presenter handled it very well though. That has to be very difficult to deal with.

Another item for Room 101 - idiots making prats of themselves behind news reporters!

Where did the live link come from, Bradford or Oldham?

It was Birmingham I think where David Blunkett had earlier been speaking... no riots there - yet.
