The white does make it look quite fresh doesn't it? Maybe I should think about that for the TV Home Forum...!
The latest situation is that there is no change. The company haven't replied to me since their original message about overuse of bandwidth. So it'll be tomorrow at the very earliest (when, I assume, the Sales team gets back from their weekend away and turns their auto-reply off.)
Its quite appropriate that this forum is a different colour, a bit like when the BBC was bomed, and BBC News looked different!.
Hopefully TV Home blue will return as soon as they did!
I'm afraid the TV Home Forum may not be returning.
Last month the site used 10GB of bandwidth. This is 10x over the limit and would cost me approx. £180 per year to keep the site running. Obviously there is no way I can afford this (or anywhere near it as it is essentially a hobby site).
I don't wish to disappoint the visitors for their fantastic posts over the last few months or me for putting the time in to build it up and no final decision has been made, although it not looking good.
I can't cope with this! Two pieces of tragic news in one day!!
We've all built up a great community together, and it will be difficult to change now!! I would like to thank Asa for making the forum possible, and I can say I have spent many great hours in there. You put a lot of hard work into it, and its a shame to see it go.
Can someone explain to me exactly what 'Bandwidth' means, and how we can reduce it for Asa? Is this the number of visitors per day and the number of posts/threads?
