Interesting to be putting Weekend on the 25th and 26th, considering that ITV/GMTV haven't bothered to put any non-kids shows in that slot for a very long time. It's probably easy to guess that GMB will be off on those days.

That's a bad mistake actually, I would have preferred a movie on at those times.


Well why didn't you warn them before hand that you'd prefer a movie! I bet they're devastated...

I think they air 29th-31st most years. I know they didn't one year during Daybreak Mark 1 when they transitioned from Purple to Yellow just after Adrian and Christine left. Not sure if Lorraine will take a break though?

I wonder if Weekend would be a good replacement to Lorraine after GMB during Christmas. Only problem is the name.

Or with many people being on holiday from work an extension of GMB until 9:25 or a time shift with children's programmes 6-7 beforehand.

"Weekend at Christmas " on a Thursday? Makes just about as much sense as "Lorraine" presented by Kate Garraway.

Did you actually expect that to happen? You weren't far off. Weekend replaces Lorraine on Christmas and Boxing Days, but CITV replaces GMB.

Yeah I did expect it. Didnt know it.

As alexhduk said its makes as much sense as when Lorraine airs without Lorraine!

I am surprised GMB is airing Christmas week. But its a normal working week up to Wed for most.

This was the last episode this series, but he will be back at xmas and a new run next spring. Looks like it doing good enough to continue beyond Alex fixed contract. From next week it will be filled with CITV content.
