Next Week – An Eventful Week?

It struck me that next week, week commencing Monday, 23rd of May could prove to be very interesting for some of us here.
A few of the happenings that came to mind this morning..
Monday, 23rd. First day of the proposed BBC Strikes.
Friday, 27th. Danny Baker’s final Breakfast Show on BBC London 94.9FM
Friday, 27th. Big Brother Starts.
Next Week. E4 made available to Freeview Viewers FREE.
Sunday, 29th French people’s decision could effect the future of the Euro Community.

I wish E4 would be free on Sky too!

Hardly what I call worth writing home about.

Well next week personally I'll be covering the Beeb strikes on Monday, Tuesday - Not sure, Wednesday - Interviewing a mine owner, Thursday - Day off and food shop then Friday - Well whatever pops up.
Very, Very boring. But I do get out and about on Monday, To Shrewsbury no less to speak to Paul Damari about the strikes.

apparently he will return to the station in the autumn after writing film scripts for Channel Five.

Really..? I expect quite a lot of Freeview viewers will be looking forward to getting E4.

Well I won't be watching. And typical it should only happen when E4 goes 24 hours.

24hr TV = bad. they must close down into ceefax.

Certainly will be a busy week, shame its marred by the launch of a 100 day long reality show that urges people to watch strangers have sex!
