why do the beeb bother to pay two presenters to present the lottery - when we all no that only one of them (usually the lesser paid) attends to present the program!
it was so obvious tonight that eamonn wasnt there whereas sarah cahwood could have easily presented the whole 5 minute program by herself. more extravagance from the bbc!

That canned laughter has a distinct howling that repeats.
(Thats what canned laughter is) sorry.
I think Eammon is fast becoming the laziest TV presenter on British Television. *My opinion*

He should go back to regional television in Northern Ireland. Ulster accents should never be on network television!

Probably because the BBC know that only us die hard lottery players/gamblers will be the only ones bothered to turn up and watch - and as it's the balls out the drum rather than the presentational quality of the midweek show/insert that's important - who really cares?

Is Eamon there or not? Could Eamons bit be recorded? If it is then why? It's a bit obvious he isn't there if they use the wide shot and he isn't there??

The presenter parts of the national lottery midweek have nearly always been pre recorded. The actual draw is still live though. I remember when Jet set was on a year or so ago. Eamon was in South Africa for GMTV but still appeared on the mid week draw for the national lottery. They had to keep saying on GMTV that it was the lottery that was recorded and not Eamon in South Africa.

Eh? Wednesday's has been the first time since it's been moved to the 10.35 slot that it's Holmeseys links have been pre-rec'ed. It's the lack of a presenter on the wide shot that gives it away.
It's common knowledge that some (or most) of the Saturday programme is recorded. Either 1 hour in advance (Jet Set), 3-4 hours (Winning Numbers) or 3-4+ Months ahead (In It To Win It)
