As per conversations with Max tonight, material included on this site has been taken from TV Ark and TV Home (especially the ITV1 page).

what is the point of setting up a site if all you do is take the clips from others.

Ok the cl;ips maybe copyright to the tv companies but the site owners have put the effort into captuing, editing and encoding all the clips.

And I would think that the BBC and ITV know about these sites. They do not get rid of them as they are not programme content and have very clear copyright notices across the site.

Indeed, they are used under the Fair Use clause!
