Tonight (Thursday) watching BBC 1 NI at 10:35 Helen Young was cut off mid-sentence as they moved on to the Next slide. I'm I correct in assuming this wasn't just a local cock-up? Was she cut off in England too?

So...

Did Helen ignore her count? (seems unlikely)

or...

Could there have been an automation problem (event countdown not working or talkback failure or both)?

Any body know?

I'm sure it wasn't anything the director in NI did

The weather person was cut off earlier in the week too - a problem with the automation in London I think.

Yes... probably was another automation problem. Although at the moment with UselessFax it's not always clear what time the Weather is due off air

Maybe someone was pissed off about all the hype they gave about the snow that never turned up and cut her off early? lol!
