Weather presenter thread

Having watched a lot of the weather forecasts recently I've come to appreciate the many skills required for this job. Does anybody have any particular favourites.
I personally rate several BBC meterologists, especially Rob McElwee, Michael Fish, Helen Willetts, Alex Deakin, Darren Bett and Isobel Lang (is she EVER going to come back?) :

How fab, a weather presenter topic whilst Katherine isn't around on the forum (Day 3 of her fast for Lent).

So no mention of that small weatherman from a certain northern BBC region, and copious reminders of Tom Schafernaker & Trevor Appleton. YAY !!!

Well, ITV wise, I like Chrissie Reidy, very underated and Anglia's Sara Thornton, who AFAIK is a qualified forecaster unlike most of the ITV regional presenters.

Who else is a qualified weather forecaster on the regions?

Have five ever had a qualified forecaster? Sian Jones and Julie MacDonald were good although they were not qualified.

Lara Lewington is way too distracting, her warm front blocks the map!

I think that I read somewhere that Jon Mitchell of Yorkshire/Granada is a quailified meterologist.

My favourite weather presenters are Alex Deakin (without glasses) and John Hammond because they are cute. There is a real ugly bugger on Look north mind, Paul somethingorother.

I've never seen Alex Deakin with glasses - you don't mean Darren Bett do you? Paul Hudson is the other bloke, although I've never seen him
