Peggy Mitchell? God no!
Dot Cotton, yes!
Any other suggestions for EastEnd today?

Vegas was always going to win - it was even obvious from the trailer... 'You're like me Mum!'
Very funny though, although Rowland shouldn't have been allowed anywhere near TV centre - he's simply not funny.
On a sort of related subject, Sky News actually had Peggy in on their 'General Election 97' programme, never fully understood why.

Who is Roland Rivron though? I've only seen him in 2 things - one was a Young Ones episode (I think it was Young Ones anyway!) and the other is A Question of TV.
And yes chesh, he should be banned. He kept shouting throughout! He was SO annoying!
Glad Johnny won! Have I said that before?
And Peggy in Sky News' Election coverage? Good God! What next, Pat Butcher on News 24's?

Rowland is a long-time close friend of Jonathon (sp?) Ross. When the two are together, they're explosively hilarious.
He often presents reports for the BBC's Holiday/Summer Holiday/Holiday On A Shoestring etc etc.
I think Rowland is very funny, although I agree he was a bit too loud on the Weakest Link. I like what he said to the remaining contestants as he did the walk of shame: 'I don't want your pity!'.

Referring to the bible that is 'the Radio Times guide to TV Comedy' I learn that Roland Rivron did lots (or some) of comedy in the late 80s/90s in a duo with 'Simon Brint', with their partnership often titled 'Raw Sex'. They appeared on a number of programmess, but I won't type them here as I don't think anyone really cares!

He did a gawd-awful chessy dating show on Sky One a few years ago. I was so bad, it was a pathetic 'yoof' version of Blind Date, except no-one was blind, and in the good aul Sky One fashion, lots of double entendre and sexual innuendo. It was so crap.
Like the new Harry Enfield, that sucked too!
Sky One does damage!- They do show StarTrek early in the morning, so that's ok, not that i'd watch it at five, but nothing else on tv at that hour. And I suppose Star Gate is back on Wednesday, but otherwise, poop!
