On Sky News last night during the paper review, Partridge apologised for the fact Aziz hadn't said anything (nothing new though for the woman not to say anything in the Sky paper review though, ex. Viv Creegor). She managed to spill her glass of WATER over her papers AND the COMPUTERS!

Reminds me of the Prime Time paper review a couple of years ago (in the 2nd news studio) when JT spilt water ALL over the papers on the small desk at the START of the review, unsuprisingly there was NO paper review!

Do you remember on Auntie's Bloomers a few years ago they had a Newsroom South East bloke who spilled coffee all over his script about 30 seconds before he was on-air for the 5.59 'stay tuned' trailer just before the 6o'c news. I can recal he managed to clean up his papers just before he was cued to begin, to huge applause by the AB audience!

That clip was shown on It Shouldn't happen to a newsreader only the other night - week last Friday I think it was.

I spilt water all over the controls at Hospital Radio on Friday while I was on air. I was so worried I'd get an electric shock or something else awful happening. Quite funny anyway.

Guy Mitchelmore? (If thats who you're talking about, he presented NSE anyway)

Last I heard, he was writing TV themes. He wrote the pre corporate Spotlight, South Today, Newsline, Reporting Scotland & Look East.
All of those were being use on screen at the same time! I bet he got a lot of money from royalties.

As for right now, I have no idea.

A glass of water is nothing - the daytime quiz show Turnabout (with Rob Curling) used to have the entire studio floor covered with water!! It did look quite good, but must have been quite dangerous- like the BBC Eclipse studio with the cascading waterfall and fountains - looked quite nice!!

He also did Newsroom South East for a while not that long ago - he was quite a good newsreader!
