This Rogue Traders segment from the BBC Watchdog website is really odd. For a start, they have replaced Matt's naration and at 13:52, a VT clock comes on the screen.

There was no confirmed return date for Watchdog. Matt said "hopefully" on-air, while Steph also mentioned the same on Twitter.

I think the series sort of hit the right note, especially for the first episode with their coffee shop swab story hitting the headlines.

Steph was good but didn't seem to really gel with Matt or Nikki in my opinion. She looked a bit bored at some points too.

They could really do with an ex-tabloid journalist as the main presenter to really grill the spokespersons and to get the sensationalist stories out there. Lynn and Anne were newspaper journalists before joining the show and you could tell of their influence during their times on the show.

I think Jane Moore would be really good.

You must be watching a different show as Steph and Nikki gelled well towards the end of the run. On the final episode they had a couple of fun links during the two-way.

Just at MediaCityUK to watch a couple of shows and was surprised to see the ‘Watchdog Live’ branding is still stuck up on the windows of Dock10!

And how did the recording go for 'The £100,000 pound drop'? Wink
