To give this thread a point - is the future of Watchdog now in doubt following the one year commission for The One Show?

Agreed. It went right off when they started bashing big corporations instead of exposing 'potential deathrap' sandiwch-toasters and counterfeit Pound Puppies stuffed with dirty bandages.

I used to especially love it when John Stapleton would get to use a CO2 fire extinguisher to takle a mince-pie fire.

Talking of Watchdog and Lynn Fawlds-Wood, I notice that Simply Hoodia are still flogging their goods - seem to pretty much be the permanent advertiser on TV Forum!
