Watch Sky News Online

I dont think this is mentioned on the Sky News website but you can still watch Sky News online. As long as you have Windows Media Player go to http://www1.sky.com/sky_asx/live/p2_live56.asx

I think it is the same version shown around the world with no adverts or time on the dog.

Oh that's interesting.. wonder when that started working again.

Its the same feed they use for Sky News Active, where they aren't allowed to show any ads because the screen size is too small.

Someone I'm sure can probably tell us, but do Sky actually play all the ads in from their own gallery, or is it done from somewhere else?

The feed used on Sky News Active has a different advert video which says about SNA while this one just shows a Sky News logo over a spining globe.

Also the SNA feed doesnt have the dog on it.

ITN's web feed has the adverts, I wonder why Skys hasnt...

Pity I cant use it, I dont touch Microsoft stuff if I can help it. (I would use a Mac, but mines a bit slow for the net...)
