Look out for a new publicity push for News 24 .... you may already have a poster up near you ... plus some new TV promos are on the way over the next week or so.
Wonder if it's got anything to do with the Sky News re-launch??

ooh! very nice! I'll keep an eye open for the posters - are they going to be pushing the World Today?

They have already started The World Today campaigning, I saw a trailer for it on News 24 and BBC ONE early this morning. It says that The World Today is on at 5.00am weekdays, followed by World Business Report at 5.30am.

Ive already seen one in my area it says something about offering a news programme its own channel then it says BBC News 24 News Whenever You Want It or something like that.
I only got a small glimpe of it as i was on a bus.

Maybe Sky had to postpone their relaunch because BBC News 24 had booked all their advertising slots on billboards nationwide!...

What's the tagline of it likely to be then 'The News never stops'? Or will it be more in line with the News Online campaign?

Is this anything like the campaign that has been appearing in the Metro newspaper for months up here?

They have a black & white full page image of, for example, a sheep, with the caption, '11.00 AM - Foot', and underneath, '11.01 AM - Foot and Mouth Outbreak'.

That's from memory (which is a bit addled at the best of times) and may not be accurate, but you get the drift. The strapline at the bottom was 'BBC News 24 - Every Minute of the Day'.

Anyone else see this?
