This new look I think will be the worst and tbh I think the current look is the best out of all of them so far

I was watching 'traffic cops' on watch lastnight and they've put the new DOG on screen but still use some of the old idents. Its just a mess. If they are going to re-brand the channel why not just do it in one hit not bits and bobs here and there!!

The same is going on currently. Old logo idents, but new logo dog, and break flashes. Oddly the break flash only appears every 2-3 adverts with the new logo, all other ads run straight into each other with no black screen.

Could it be that the playout system has been programmed accidentally to use the wrong branding elements due to them having both the new & old logos and their respective presentation packages running?

So was the brief with this just to copy Five c.2009 then? If it was then:
a) they've done a pretty poor job
b) it was a bad idea

The brand was done by the same people who did the Five rebrand in 2009.

The mess continues. One end of a break I got an old "WatchTogether." break bumper, the other a new one advertising Grimm.

That happens all the time! It's a mess! I can't believe they actually are doing this! They should have done a complete rebrand once everything was ready for onscreen

Is there anything other than the idents & old bumpers that are still reflecting the old branding?

Wow no wonder they delayed showing them, that looks so naff.
