Full branding on the channel will launch from 9 March, though some elements will appear around the launch of Grimm in February. Dixon Baxi is currently working on a new suite for refreshed idents for the channel.
Channel 5 did the same back when they moved from ( 5 ) to five : they screened their premiere of Saving Private Ryan sans DOG and with new breakbumpers et al, but moved back to the ( 5 ) pres afterwards before the full relaunch soon after.

If they were going to squash up the letters in WATCH so much, they could've at least chosen a font where the angle of the 'A' was the same as the 'W'. It looks as though it was created in 2 minutes! I hope they didn't pay much for this.
