Looks to me like ITV have given up already on the ratings , though isn't their most watched Sunday night show Heartbeat at 8 o'clock?

Can't imagine Pop Idol (whatever that is) will get many viewers.

The only thing is I was looking forward to the final News 24 conference debate thing tonight. Will they have to show this at another time to make up the equal amount of airtime for each party?

I've only watch Fox News a little bit -- it's horrible (I'm biased btw)

I wish it would be Phillip -- he's the one of the best -- other than that, I hope it'll be Adrian. I don't like Nik Gowing very much (or Stephen Cole, I know a lot of you do -- he mumbles when he presents)

If only this had happened yesterday, as I'd have been able to see my favourite presenter, Phil Hayton doing breaking coverage. Having said that it sounds a bit strange, and I'd like to make it clear that I disagree with war in general, but I belive this action tonight is definitely necessary.

I take it you haven't watched ITV1 for 3 months then?

Never mind what your views are on that programme, Pop Idol will get a lot of viewers
