Once again, BBC bantering between different studios, with ITV News getting to the heart of the 'action' with a live audio link to Julian Manyon, who seconds before was 'allowed into the area'. Following this, studio conversation with Robert Moore.

Channel 4 broke into news, but is back with Scrapheap Challenge.

At 5.55pm, ITV1 went to the ITV News with Katie Durham

On Yorkshire, John Shires was just about to start a roundup of the Division 3 Action (on Soccer Sunday), but he said we had to end the programme and join ITN.

It went to a wide-shot of the Calendar/Soccer Sunday studio and stayed like this for about 15 seconds.

We then cut to Katie Durham, a 4:3 picture stretched to 16:9 intially, before being sorted out, about 3 minutes later.

Does anyone know what happened with ITV1 Regions, which were showing recorded programming (Basically everyone except YTV and TTTV)

Well Katie Derham must be pleased with this, after all the allegations that she had been relegated to the equivalent of the ITV 'graveyard slot'.

BBC epg still has Antiques Roadshow starting on BBC1 at 6.20, but I can't see that going ahead.

Also, LWT, Meridian, Tyne Tees and Channel have already had their regional news programmes this evening, But everybody else hasn't yet.

So I assume, when we return to normal programming, it will be networked (Probably Coronation Street)

So far I've been impressed by CNN's coverage, as well as ITV. BBC has been excellent, I think Maxine has handled it brilliantly. The BBC have had loads of interviews and correspodents live across the globe and are getting points of view from across the world.
