Alagiah has just handed over to Bush addressing the US Nation.

I typed this when the story broke over here: Was watching MSNBC and the US has started bombing Kabul, Afghanistan (at least)…All of the US networks have special reports now -- CNN's been behind in reporting this (ironically)…have the UK networks covered anything?  Prez Bush is making a speech in 9 min.


All channels are obviously now taking the president's speech

I think HTV came in a bit late, and faded black, then to ITN and then black again when an HTV announcer introduced the bulletin.

BBC America are broadcasting World!

Blimey! That caught me off guard. Fancy doing it on a Sunday.

BBC Two just show a blue strap saying something like
'|B|B|C| ONE has a News Report' or words to that effect.

ITV have been showing CNN's feed with v/o from Katie Derham.

News 24 are on BBC ONE with Maxine Mawhinney and George Alagiah. They are handling it excellently. ITV are still in regular programming! I am monitoring BBC News Specials and I will be bringing you as much content as I can.

Sorry ITV and Channel 4 are now live with Bush.

Meridian were showing Monkey Business, a regional programme focusing a local wildlife park - and then mid-way through the programme faded black and then the ITN blue screen appeared.

Bush has spoken, Katie Derham is presenting.
