It's down for 12.35 which is quite early anyway.
I suppose it depends if there's more bombing tonight.

And from ITV1's presentation point of view, Carlton are using the Sunrise ident again Smile One of my favourites .....

BBC News 24 set for BBC1 at 22:55 after the Panorama which also focuses on the War on Terror.

ITV Weekend News is similarly to be extended and more than frequent reports are scheduled throughout the night.

Now this is scary, there's a recording saying that the people of the US will never be safe or taste freedom.

Thats on News Direct London

Anna Jones has replaced Maxine Mawhinney.

Whats happened to Chris Lowe? I would have thought they'd have put Gavin and Chris on together!

All of the channels knew there would be a strike today. Brian Williams on MSNBC just went through some hints they got throughout the day -- and they just played a tape of the B2 bomber leaving Missouri early this morning (they didn't show them when it happened for safety reasons)…so it sounds like they all had a pretty good idea what was going to happen.

George Alagiah was a full time presenter on News 24 during the flags era, before he became backup to Anna Ford on the News at One.
