All of the American networks obviously new that something was going to happen this weekend. Tom Brokaw (NBC) was on air immediately, so was Dan Rather (CBS) and Peter Jennings (ABC). Aaron Brown, aparrently the senior anchor at CNN now, was on in minutes - from Atlanta (he's usually in New York). Brian Williams, the senior presenter at MSNBC, was on within an hour.
Well done to ITN News Channel ... they got pictures of Osama bin Laden very quickly ... CNBC were running them with a translation.
Still not seen them on SKY or News 24.

All of the American networks (except Fox News Channel) had this on right away. I can't believe this guy. He makes my skin crawl - to say the least. He's the devil incarnate.

We are receiving reports of a second wave of attacks on Afghanistan.
It is understood the city of Kandahar is being targeted.
CNN believes the raids are on the headquarters of Taliban leader Mullah Mohammed Omar.
Initial reports say the raids are heavier than the first attacks.
Buildings near the home of Mohammed Omar are thought to have been destroyed.
A military base has also been hit and anti-aircraft fire has been seen in the skies above the city.
