So that's 30 people seen this, and apparently 30 people who are unenelightened about him.

Well I'll add to this great weight of opinion!
I think he's pretty damn good, but then I've always liked those quirky presenters whose passion and enthusiasm for their subjects is infectious.
I was also a huge fan of Fred Dibnah, and I don't think we see nearly enough of Johnny Ball on the box these days...

Oi!
You calling me heavy?
I loved Fred too, but am very "middle-of-the-road" on Adam, neither for nor against, hence my abstention so far.

That's a great shame - he's good enough a presenter to do the gig solo!

His new series "What The Ancients Did For Us" starts on 15 February, by the way. Though he's actually leading a team of four presenters, which makes it sound like they've just stuck him upfront doing links to draw people in.

I think he's an excellent presenter. I've also had the pleasure of meeting him. He was a TV producer when I first met him in the very early 90s when he was filming a programme at my university department (QED I think).
I had a quick chat with him about the feasibility of going into TV production as a career and he gave me a few bits of very useful advice. I was very grateful that he took a few moments out of a busy shooting schedule to have a cup of tea and a chat.
I don't think he moved in front of the camera for a little while after this. (I think he had worked for Yorkshire TV producing schools science programmes for a while?)

I think he's brilliant, I love TV presenters who are enthusaiastic about what they do.

I love his programmes. He makes science interesting. Local Heroes I always watch whenever it's on.
I have a friend who was working on a program he was making, and apparently he's quite the jack the lad. Bill Oddie too apparently, but that's just rumour, never pay attention to rumours.....
I normally don't watch some science programs because they are presented by scientists who are so boring you fall asleep almost the second they appear on screen. This dosen't happen with Adam at all.
