We all know that Aardman have released the new movie for Wallace and Gromit "The Curse Of The Were-Rabbit" but now Sky Movies 1 and UKTV Gold are currently transmitting well known films like The Wrong Trousers and a Close Shave!
Ahh, memories.
What is it you like most about Wallace and Gromit, and which film are you most happy to see?
I'm very interested to know how the old Walace & Gromit films have got on Sky Movies, I know Aardman are the creators, but don't the BBC have rights to it, as it's the Beeb who have released it on Video and DVD before and they have shown it on UK Gold a few times before.
But good to see them getting reran, it doesn't happen that much these days.
The BBC seem to be transmitting episodes every Sunday at around 1pm.
Last week they showed the original Creature Comforts, with Wallance and Gromit films beginning tomorrow.
Also seen an ad on ITV tonight for the new series of Creature Comforts - I wonder if they'll squeeze it in between Sunday nights Corrie and Emmerdale again?
And going off topic, but really annoys me how films which are essential British (though American financed!) premiere around the world first! Wallace and Gromit opened in the US last week - and a month ago in Australia!
As a big fan of Wallace & Gromit it saddens me to say the movie is not as good as the critics say. I put that down to my hatred of parodies though. For me spoofs/parodies are right up there with the "It was all a dream" ending. I really
hate
them.
If this is the way the new Wallace and Gromit film ends....cheers JCB, you've really f*cked me off by saying that before I've seen it. If not, apologies.

Incidentally, the BBC have purchased the rights to the new cinema version of Wallace and Gromit. Due for transmission Christmas 2008.
