Absolutely superb! I love the way the screen slides into the corner to reveal either 'Evidence' or 'Making of' details.
Cheers, Asa
Yeah, I rather like that too - BBCi have done rather a good job on this interactive service - a lot better than the Wimbledon 2001 interactive service back in the summer.

I feel like I'm missing out now, being a digital terrestrial viewer! Although I was really watching Top Gear on BBC2, I briefly flicked over to see what the interactive service had to offer, and all there seemed to be was some very brief facts that come up on the screen when you press the yellow button.

I assume its 4 separate full screen video feeds, like Sky Sports Active, hence you can do all manner of transition tricks.
Is the reason the regional news service isn't starting until January because all the bandwidth is being used for Walking with Beasts?
I like the way the whole thing is available 24 hours for a whole week afterwards too...

I am watching it again...
ON Sky, they are repeating the interactive version 24/7 till next week i think.
You get two versions of the narration, you also get pop-up facts to accompany the program, as well as options to press yellow and blue to find out where the evidence for a certain scene came from, or how a creature was designed and made.
When you click the blue or yellow buttons, the action goes smaller into the top corner and the narration is lowered as a new video plays with info about how it was done, or how they learnt about it.
WOW nice that yet again the BBC taking our money for service 80% of the population cant recive.

So just because some people dont have Digital TV, you expect companies to just not bother to enhance their output.
wether you like it or not, by 2010, everyone will be digital, one way or another, and then you can get interactivity too.

I have got to say I thought WWB Interactive was a piece of class! Really one of the best things digital telly's done yet! Honestly, I think more ppl are gonna want to go digital with this service on air, cos it's true quality! I so love it, for real! Quality piece of kit, well done BBC!
(No, I'm not bein' sarcastic, I genuinely like it!)

BBCi is definatly beginning to grow on me now..at first I wasn't too sure..but this Walking With Beasts Interactive has definately pushed the boundreis of interactive TV..Why can't SKY be like this??? :
VERY
well done BBC!
I actually do have digital. The 20% I was referring to were the 20% on SKY. There is around 20% combined on Cable and DTT, which makes the Uk around 40% digital. Im on Digital cable, with no plans to get SKY in the forseeable futiure.
