Walking with Beasts

What do you think of the walking with beasts interactive text?

Absolutely superb! I love the way the screen slides into the corner to reveal either 'Evidence' or 'Making of' details.

It looks brilliant, well done BBC i, however my sis wouldn't let me use it for then more then one minute, she wanted to watch it in the 20th century way!

Is the programme repeated again with the Interactive?

Yes - great, isn't it!

The bit I find weird is that you can choose whether you want a normal commentary or an 'in-depth' commentary - the whole interactive service must have cost a fortune, and they have clearly thought it out very much.

Well you know me, I'm not usually a big BBC fan but this is fantastic! It's certainly the best use of interactivity I've ever seen, I just hope that BBC News Interactive is as good!

Well, Telewest's version is quite good! Shame we don't have the extra video bit like Sky people have.

And we now have the Children in Need stuff too. There are webcams too! Has Sky Dig got it yet and what does it have?

It's good to see the BBC putting so much effort into an interactive service. Walking With Beasts was heavily promoted and it is a great program just like Walking With Dinosaurs and both program's have had idents made for them. I don't care what ppl say about the BBC ONE Balloon, I think it's great, they're are so many places it can go!

NTLs is good. Not as good as SKYs but the message boards more than make up for it:D

I think we get the same as telewest. I access it by pressing red on BBC1 but Im not sure if this works on telewest.

No, I have to press Interactive, go to the main screen, press games and learning, press learning then press the Beasts logo!

It's a lot of faffing about isn't it? Why can't they just activate the red button?

Dunno. I can access it via a load of fiddly menus too, but the red button is easier. Im glad we dont have to suffer with 'press red' icons that SKY do but I wont be shocked if NTL come up with some dodgy graphic like that thats impossible to get rid of too in the near future. I know soemone with SKY and for hem its impossible to watch sports or anytihng with red button interactive.
