In case anyone is interested, the battle rounds will be made at Salford Quays this year - following on from the blind auditions. ISTR they were made in London last year? (Elstree?)

Yes, I think you're right. That's great news for Salford - they really pulled it off with the blinds, so well done to them.

I think it's only a matter of time before Salford gets to host a live 'Saturday night'-type programme. It would really show a marked change from only having London as a haven for live entertainment programmes.

The battles were in Fountain for the last 2 years. Obviously they cannot go there next month with The X Factor recording.
Elstree was used for the live shows in series 1 and Pinewood was used for the live shows last year.
