Just throwing my opinion into the ring.
I think the new co-host is still likely to be a Radio 1 presenter, perhaps Greg James? He seems favourable with the BBC TV Chiefs at the moment. Just a suggestion.

Ah yeah, he's another one DVB Cornwall is a fan of. I think that's quite a credible suggestion.

This might mean something be the vague Tweet that DVB Cornwall was talking about too...

Then I don't think it's that surprising, considering he's the Radio 1 Drivetime presenter, isn't bad looking and has done quite a bit of TV anyway.

I think this is what could be described as 'universal surprise'.

With regards as to whether or not they need a co presenter I think they do, remember The Voice doesn't have a 'Xtra Factor'/'Got More Talent'/'It Takes Two' style support program so all that stuff has to be done within the program itself.

Would the show flow better if this side of things was a spin off show, or is it needed at all?

I see the blind auditions are taking place at Media City again, beginning of October.

Do we assume the later shows will be made at Pinewood again?

So the Tony Blackburn Twitter inference I got was wrong JLS' Marvin Humes will co-present, A newcomer for such a programme seems risky.

Not as risky as giving the job to Tony Blackburn. Not that Tony Blackburn would do a bad job but he'd only appeal to an older audience alienating the younger viewers the brand is geared towards and those who are fans of comic irony.

Marvin has a secondary role we assume, he's already hosted This Morning and has a Capital FM show. It will give the show some credibility with the younger demographic.

Compared to lots of boy bands the JLS guys are bright, sharp and very quick witted. Not a surprise Marvin is moving into presenting.

When they've been guests on shows they've been much more interesting and interested than many of their contemporaries.

Although not sure how much of a compliment that is. He was relatively well received on This Morning but this is a very different gig.
