VIVA To Close & Be Replaced With MTV OMG?

Yes, you're correct.

I was looking at the logos in the app which are the old logos and I forgot all about the changes on-screen - disregard the last bit then.


It is pretty unprofessional of Sky to still be using the old logos for the other channels.

Digiguide has still got old logos for all the MTV channels which include "Music Television" in the logo (although it's barely readable, given the size of the logos).

Only MTV Love is using the correct/current logo on the Sky Q app.

MTV Classic is the last orange logo. The rest still have the previous typeface. The MTV Music +1 is correct but curiously it seems to be the inverted version (for use on light backgrounds).

The Sky News one is correct so perhaps its not the fault of Sky.

All of them are correct on Virgin Media.

Sky and Digiguide need to get their act together.

The online Sky TV Guide has the old logos for all the channels except for MTV Loves which is correct.

I think you are a month early, as that's not due to happen until 1st March.

They've done just that with 5Spike+1 - on COM7, only on between 2am to 4am.

So does that mean the slot previously occupied by VIVA is no longer?

Must admit that the MTV Love channel is a shower of s**t, however not as I expected it to be.

On a separate note, I thought VIVA's graphics were far better than the monstrosity we've been reduced to on the MTV music channels. The latter are so cheap it's such a shame especially when the likes of Bauer and Sony are outputting what I consider to be much better on screen graphics
