I think the 7 former Flextech channels should reform into 3 channels which have complete and satisfying schedules. This means less repeats, hopefully more audience figures for those channels and less costs plus less bandwidth which money saving would go towards high quality program.
Here's a diagram of how I think it should work.

Virgin Media 1 would be a mainstream channel, providing the best showcase of their shows, pretty much equivalent of Sky One.
Virgin Media 2 would show more niche shows, like Gamer.TV and police camera programs plus gameshows from the former Challenge.
Finally Virgin Media 3 would be for a younger audience using most of Trouble's existing programming but with home-grown productions and quality imports.
PS. Certain shows like Life on Mars from Bravo would be moved to VM1 to gain higher audiences.
It's obviously a bit rough but I think focusing down to 3 channels instead of having a (imo) rather lackluster schedules for 7 channels is the way for them to move foward. It'll also help on the Sky platform, if someone see's Virgin One and see a programme like CSI it might entice them slowly to the Virgin Media platform (does that make sense? :S)
I already feel bad vibes about replys for this
but personally I would more likely watch them if they were more varied and consistant across the network.
