New name for Flextech (February 2007)

Not sure if this is old news (don't think so, I was only looking at the Flextech site a few weeks back) but all the former Flextech channels are now run under the Virgin name. What this means for Ftn I don't know (the F stands for Flextech I believe), but it will be interesting to see if it means any on-screen changes.

On that site as well, they're using a new logo for Living TV. Looks... bland.

I don't know who shot the Virgin media TV ads, but whoever it was has made Uma Thurman look rough as f*ck!

I hope Ftn gets a new look sharpish - I feel some mocks coming on. They will probably ditch the yellow and reds in favour of the Virgin Media default colours. VTN?

Actually I never thought of that - FTN stands for Flextech Television Network - which in essence is now a redundant name.

...Yeah...VTN does not sound quite the same does it....!!!! We're so used to FTN...VTN does not really 'fit the bill'...but Virgin Media TV (VMTV) or something like that sounds better! Very Happy

...We'll have to wait and see if they do decide to change the name as the 'F' of FTN does stand for Flexi-tech as already pointed out by you - all new Phil. Laughing

They'll probably make a slogan along the lines of 'Full On Television' or something (not my idea - read it on Digital Spy).

Well there are many possibilities..

Vtn = Virgin Television Network
VMtn = Virgin Media Television Network
VMTV = Virgin Media Television
FoTV! = Full On Television

etc

It's right at the bottom of each page - last line where it says 'Privacy Policy', then 'Terms and Conditions and after that it says (C) Virgin Media Television
