I'm paying £71 a month for 20MB and XL telly, and there's a campaign running on TV suggesting 30MB + telly for less than half that. Outrageous. That said I have multi-room in 3 rooms, but that's only a tenner of the cost.
Nah - they can stick their TiVo up their head-end.
That seems a very high monthly cost, Gav.
I have the TV/Broadband/Phone package from Sky, which rarely comes to more than £45 a month with call charges outisde the 'freebie' allowance.
I am about to add the HD Pack (for another £10.25 per month), but only because that means I can get the bigger 1TB box for £49 if I keep the pack for 12 months.
The only major advantage I can see of Virgin would be your 30MB broadband. Mine offers 'up to 20MB', but the line can only handle up to 8MB: which seems to do for my purposes. However, I can envisage that being insufficient for a family sharing a single broadband connection on WiFi.
