Put The Telly On
Hmm...

...Mercury, Venus, Virgin-Earth, Mars, Jupiter...

Branson is aiming to brand the whole planet! Smile

I notice the 'Mini Guide' now doesn't featue the date/time. I'm glad, I thought it was just clutter on the bar.

Better not do, to me it's pretty vital to judging timing easier.

Mmmmm, I can understand that, but for me it's just not useful.

Can anyone put some caps on of the new Virgin EPG, or point me in the direction of where they might be on the net?

I remember seeing some shots last night (can't remember where, sorry) and the time (and maybe the date as well) was definitely intact on the Mini Guide.

I know there are a collection os shots on Cable Forum. Nothing great however, just a rebadged and recoloured Telewest EPG.

I don't like the look of it, liked the 'blue' theme of Telewest over the new black one, more friendly looking,

Anyway... maybe it now mean we might get Sky Two & Sky Three, and the 'V+' (FKA TV Drive) thrown in for free soon.

I've tried restarting my own box, but it hasn't updated to the new EPG or branding, we're still stuck on NTL's hideous blue branding. Could it be because the hardware is too old, or is it because there's a different procedure for getting updates these days?

The new EPG system is being rolled out across the UK from now until June/July. So you just have to wait! Very Happy

Thanks. Virgin's own website is particularly unhelpful...

If you mean virgin.com, then no it won't be helpful, but with virginmedia.com you may have more luck...

I did try Virgin Media's website. Not a single thing about "should I reboot my box?" or "should I call Virgin Media if my box malfunctions?" It was all about the UI.

If you turn to 999 (channel 999, not the Emergency Services number), you will find JK and Joel who will show you screenshots and give you some trouble-shooting stuff.
