After seeing how favourites work now as shown on ch. 999 and On Demand, it's not much different but different enough to make me not like it and approach it with fear and frank hostility whenever it comes, all very grim UI too but then C&W/NTL/VM has never got a good colour palette going for their firmware.

So far no on screen change, it's still telewest & teleport when you press the home button.....

To quote Virgin Media, sit tight, it's coming soon. Looking round apparently most people should have the Virgin software by the end of Spring, the only people who should have it today are TV Drive/V+HD users.

Well, it looks like they've unleashed the new brand. All ntl/telewest/comingvsoon sites now redirect to the 'proper' Virgin Media site, and in the areas (certainly in SW London) where they've got the Metro newspaper, there's an outside spread shouting loudly and proudly their new packages.

I have the new Virgin channels e.g. Virgin iD and Virgin Central e.t.c. But not the new graphics yet still Telewest, but as Virgin Media have said, it's Coming Soon...

Certainly pushing the service hard, can't see why because to me it's only strong points are in moblie and broadband, everything else just doesn't cut it with what the big boys offer in their fields. It's all a bit all mouth and no trousers right now though which is a shame, it'd be good if their service met with their advertising clout.

Nice set on the Virgin iD, JK and Joel seem to be doing a good job. Though they do seem to always go on about Sky Plus on Radio 1 though.

I'm looking forward to the new EPG and other onscreen stuff; I like darker graphics.

I like how On Demand is not not now spilt up by Broadcaster or genre, but by A-Z, its a much cleaner way to do it.

Don't like the new on-screen colours of the Play, Pause, Rewind and so on though.

Fell upon the rolling live coverage of Richard Branson's publicity thing he's doing in Covent Garden Market, anyone else catching it? Bizarre but oddly complusive viewing.

Virgin Central looks interesting, must keep a look out for its launch...

This would be even more interesting...

Didn't they used to do both?

Personally I'd prefer it by broadcaster or genre - not only IMO would it be easier to find what you want, but you're more likely to find other programming you might want to view if they're in the same genre or from the same channel than if they just begin with the same letter of the alphabet!
