If Sky One disappears from Virgin tomorrow perhaps Virgin should use the freed EPG position, thus if Sky One is reinstated soon after they'll have lost the '120' channel number.

I believe Breakfast are due to be interviewing both Sky and Virgin this morning.

I haven't watched Breakfast this morning, but I wonder if it went the same way as the Today Programme's attempt to get guys from Sky and Virgin in the same room yesterday.

If there is anyone here who has Virgin Media and will be affected by tonight's turn-off, could you send me a PM please.

I think it's more that Virgin have suggested this, and since it will include a possible re-negotiation of the carriage deal for Virgin Media TV channels on Sky I can't see Murdoch going for it (he got a good reduction in the recent deal).

Sky are pushing this to the deadline now, so I can't see them agreeing to anything before midnight. What they could do is extend their existing agreement so negotiations can continue (as they did over ITV's carriage deal on Sky).

Hardly an exclusive. But graphics do have the devil horns and flames ready to super-impose over any statement from Branson... *joke*

We are looking for people who have Virgin Media to record the moment the channels disappear, if the dispute is not resolved, for tomorrow's reports. And also subscribers to talk to us about whether they are gutted they won't be able to watch Lost, or whether couldn't really give a rats.

Please do PM if you are a subscriber.

Quick item on the 1 this lunchtime about the potential loss of Sky's channels from Virgin. Includes brief "stock footage" of a very old Sky EPG, mixed in with the new Virgin one.

So what channels are actually supposed to be taken off? Is it all but the free-to-air channels which they have to show, or only certain ones?
