It was a decent enough show to fill 2 hours on a Saturday night, plus it was good to see some TV highlights again

Good to see it was live as well, at least some people are working in the media this week. Peter Dickson was doing the voiceover live as well, half of the show in his X Factor voice and half in his Price is Right voice

The bloke who won seemed a bit odd though

So "ITV Viewer of the Year" wasn't you then? After all that work you must be gutted.

It featured programmes from all channels

Indeed guests included Chantelle from Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother and Ricky Tomlinson from BBC1's Royle Family

Also Myleene and the other guy from I'm a Celebrity, performing a song together. With Myleene on the piano and the man singing - were guests on the programme.

*Sorry if names spelt wrong etc - what is the guy called again?*

I also enjoyed this programme and it was great to relive all the televisual treats we have been given in 2006.

It only became apparent that the programme was indeed live when there were a few strange camera angles and some things didnt seem right. But for a live 2 hour programme slap-bang in the middle of the Christmas and New Year I thought everyone done particularly well.

Annoyingly I think i got about 99% of questions correct - i must stop watching all this event and reality tv!

Yes, I was rather embarrassed that I knew most of the questions as well. When that woman got a couple wrong in the final round I was screaming at my TV. Embarassed

LOL maybe you 2 should enter next year! I would but I only know a few programmes well enough to answer questions - Corrie being one of them. Wink A lot of others I know bugger all about.

I think Kate did quite well and it's nice to see ITV using someone other than Ant & Dec or Vernon Kay for a change.
