The Viacom TV channels are down at the moment for some reason. Black screen currently on Nick and Paramount Comedy 2. Paramount Comedy 1 is stuck on one frame of Scrubs. The +1 channels are running as normal, and MTV doesn't seem to be affected.

Nickelodeon is black, Nick Replay and Nick Toons are showing a still frame.

EDIT: Nickelodeon just came back.

EDIT: Nick Jr. and Nick Jr. 2 seem fine.

Nicktoons just came back after showing a BT test card for a bit.

Nick Replay is now the only channel off air.

I noticed, it looks like they're advertising their services - during a breakdown of their services.

It seems to have also affected Sci Fi+1, which is a bit strange as to my knowledge it's not a Viacom channel. I'm guessing they must outsource the playout. The Nick Jr channels were unaffected as well, which is a pain as the 3 year old watching Dora the Explorer is getting on my nerves Laughing

That breakdown slide just accentuates how hideously ugly the BT logo is. Bring back The Piper, I say.

Looks like it could have been an uplink fault, as that's the BT uplink test card.

No, it's the caption card for the TV switching centre at BT Tower. Lines into Tv stations from BT Tower display this when there's nothing else booked on the line.

Presumably the channels go from their playout centre (which I think is in Camden) to their uplink site (which won't necessarily be BT, likely to be Arquiva) via the BT tower and the line was lost

Is it just me or does the text look like it's been done in Powerpoint?

All of the Discovery channels except one of the +1s went to a grey screen for a while this afternoon. Maybe only the Irish relays were affected?

Yeah that caption tower appears on many other satellites too, its also used before channel launches, and presumably BT fibre feeds.

The previous one was better, I like the way the BT logo animates in this one though!
