Yeah well, is PhotoDraw included on the student licence? I thought the student licence was just Professional, anyway you didn't answer my question , who's 'we'?

We as in the computer shops etc..

Oh right, anyway i'm not a student at the moment, not until September when I start at college, why are you so keen for me to give money to microsoft anyway?

Well. I got Office 2000 Student License and Photo Draw came with it. But after time I start mixing programs together to get the best effects.

Because piracy is wrong. It harms us software developers somewhat terrible. It causes many software companies to fold.

Imagine if, for example, the company Jasc (Just another software company) - the creators of PSP.. If everyone downloaded crack files for the software and didn't purchase it, they'd run out of money, and then they wouldn't be able to update the software, and it would die.

Do you really want to live in a world with old software because software companies can't afford to release new versions?

Yes, old Bill Gates has a load of dosh you think - but its the principle of the matter.

But, getting back on topic, Jord, those idents look cool! I'd like to see a Yorkshire one and maybe a Granada one too Smile

OK final words from me before we go back to the topic, on the subject of Jasc, have they actually released a trial copy of PSP which you can't trick into working? Anyway generally piracy is wrong, however, I for 18 months had used PhotoDraw on a 30 day trial(for the first 2 months I dodn't have to change the clock it didn't even come up with a box saying you have used x days of this trail, which it did later), that was a mistake by Microsoft, and when I got my 'new' computer, it didn't work, somebody suggested that as it had been discontinued, I search for crack, I am merely revisiting that trial. I would rather not do that but if it had been available as a single programme I wouldn't have and also at a senisble price, some of the prices are extortionate, you may say they need to charge that much to make any money, but if they reduce the price then they will of course sell more.

Not Generally piracy is wrong... ALWAYS piracy is wrong..

If the trial didn't work, why didn't you email postmaster@microsoft.com? They'd try to help you out! Cracks are never the answer.

Some programs cost thousands of pounds to make, so they need to charge 'extortionate' prices to make money.

But hey, rant over about piracy! Smile

Let's get this thread back on the road Smile

You said the trial didn't work on your new PC. Did you try reinstalling the trial to see if it fixed it?
