On a unrelated note:

I can pay £1 to enter the Marathon competition with a huge prize package on offer (Easily in 5 figures) or I can pay the same money for my chance to win £1000 on Millionaire!

Not that I'll be doing either, but it does seem weird how these competitions operate!

£1 seems to be the standard amount to enter these competitions these days.

celebrities....uurggh.

I didn't see it tonight but clearly ITV still haven't learnt their lesson.

It seems that the general public aren't allowed to appear on ITV unless its in the form of a naff reality talent show format.

Whilst this has been mentioned earlier in some of context, it was interesting to see the Yorkshire TV ident from the 80s although Yorkshire made The Price is Right during the Brucie era but being based on the 80s graphics and even having footage from the Crowther era, why didn't they go further back in the ITV alphabet and have a Central ident?

Intreresting list of "celebs" in the audience, Steve Penk, Pat Sharp amongst others. Poor old Henry Kelly didn't look best pleased to be there.

Perhaps they want to mix it up a bit because next week will be a Central gameshow?

Am I the only one to have heard Vernon call Graeme Le Saux a "f*****g legend", when he first spoke to him?

No, I heard that too. Sadly, on rewinding and listening carefully I realised he actually said "footy legend".

How can it be? It's coming from the London Studios, the X Factor is done at Fountain Studios in Wembley.
