I can pay £1 to enter the Marathon competition with a huge prize package on offer (Easily in 5 figures) or I can pay the same money for my chance to win £1000 on Millionaire!
Not that I'll be doing either, but it does seem weird how these competitions operate!
£1 seems to be the standard amount to enter these competitions these days.
Whilst this has been mentioned earlier in some of context, it was interesting to see the Yorkshire TV ident from the 80s although Yorkshire made The Price is Right during the Brucie era but being based on the 80s graphics and even having footage from the Crowther era, why didn't they go further back in the ITV alphabet and have a Central ident?
Intreresting list of "celebs" in the audience, Steve Penk, Pat Sharp amongst others. Poor old Henry Kelly didn't look best pleased to be there.
