What rubbish are they throwing out and expecting high audience figures for nowadays? Vernon Kay is WAY overated as a presenter and as I expected he was terrible tonight, unfunny jokes and no charisma at all. And Celebrities... say no more. The format worked best with Ant & Dec as you had entertainment, laughs and the lot.
Oh how those old clips they use look superb nowadays.
Bruce's Price is Right was only 6 years ago and how come I get the feeling we'll never see something so slick and amazing nowadays. Now all we see is Emmerdale after Coronation Street after The Bill, It's the same old stuff just on even more than ever. So variety dosen't have a chance no more when all we see is constant cheap rubbish from ITV although others are just as bad as well.

£1 seems to be the standard amount to enter these competitions these days.

On a unrelated note:
I can pay £1 to enter the Marathon competition with a huge prize package on offer (Easily in 5 figures) or I can pay the same money for my chance to win £1000 on Millionaire!
Not that I'll be doing either, but it does seem weird how these competitions operate!
